Disney Dream Girls 121 - Listener Questions

Welcome to the show notes for the Disney Dream Girls Podcast, for Sunday 21st August 2016. As always, if you wish to listen whilst reading, click on the icon below.

Coming up on today's show, we have the answers to some listener questions. From how would Michelle re-introduce Jayne to Disneyland, to creating an afternoon tea to where to eat at Disney Springs the trio of Dream Girls will endeavour to find you the answers.

It has been a number of years since Jayne last visited Disneyland, in fact Cars Land was a construction zone! So our first question looked at how Michelle would showcase the best of the Disneyland Resort to Jayne.
Disneyland in a day!
So how would you tackle Disneyland if you only had one day? Please email us - info@disneydreamgirls.com as we would love to know!

The next question, called for us to create our very own afternoon tea. As you may have read via the Disney Parks Blog, they are introducing a Halloween Trick or Tea at Steakhouse 55 this fall. What would you like to see in a tea? Whilst Jayne went down the traditional, ultra English route... Michelle went a little off track and managed to mash up a tea come meet and greet. We would love to hear your thoughts!

Finally, our wonderful princess Jeanie answers the final question about dining at Disney Springs. With so many options it is really difficult to choose, especially if, like our listener who posed the question, you are only there for one meal. Jeanie offered up two options but to hear every mouthwatering mouthful you will have to listen but we will give you a clue, it involved Art Smith and BB Wolf!

Disney Dream Girls 120 - Saving Money on Disney Holidays

Welcome to the show notes for the Disney Dream Girls podcast, show number 120 for Sunday 14th August 2016.

Coming up on this show, we share some listener feedback and then move on to two features, which we hope will inform and entertain.

Feature one will reveal how you can save money when booking your next Disney trip. For many people, they rely on letting a travel agent do all their work for them, which is great but sometimes there is a price for that service. Jayne usually books this method for piece of mind and the ability on relying on that agents expertise to advise and guide her. However, Michelle books on a DIY basis; spending hours looking for the best price possible for separate flights and hotels. But for her August trip, she is renting Disney Vacation Club points and in doing so she has been able to save a great deal of money. So when friend and listener, Becky Manion asked her for more information, she thought she would share this for our listeners.

In order to provide information and prices for the feature, Michelle used Davids Vacation Club Rental . In return, Michelle received no financial incentive for doing so, but she wanted to quote a reputable that is the biggest and oldest organisation dealing with DVC point rental. If you require any further information, go visit their website to watch their videos and have a look for yourself at the cost calculator to see what you could save on your next vacation.
For the second feature, Jayne quizzes Michelle about her upcoming holiday schedule.

Disney Dream Girls 119 - Olympics Disney Mash Up

Welcome to the show notes for the Disney Dream Girls podcast, show number 119 for Sunday 7th August. As usual, if you wish to listen to the show, whilst reading the blog - click on the image below.

On this show, Michelle and Jayne start by reviewing the Disney news. This section includes news of entertainment ending at Disneyland (as the 60th celebrations come to an end), Disney possibly tracking your footwear and the future of scoping in the parks. Then, our main feature. This idea was sent to us by listener (and dear friend) Anthony Markham. It ties in to the start of Olympic fever with us compiling our very own Team Disney to compete. Along the way, there are a few giggles as we compile this very tongue in cheek team. Why not join in the fun and  let us know your team!

Disney Dream Girls 118 - Star Wars Celebration and Disneyland Park Shanghai

Welcome to the show notes for the Disney Dream Girls podcast, show number 118 for Sunday 31st July 2016. As usual, if you wish to listen to the show, whilst reading the blog - click on the image below.

On this weeks show, Jayne reflects on her experiences at Star Wars Celebration.

Then Michelle chats with fellow podcaster Disney Dwayne (@disneydwayne) from the Once Upon a Fairy Tale Podcast. Dwayne is passionate about Disney but recently on a trip to Disneyland Park in Shanghai he was disappointed by some of the guests behaviour, so much so he recorded and released a video showing some of these. Click here to watch the clip. But this wouldn't be a Disney Dream Girls Show without talking about the many, many wonderful things first that you can experience at Disneyland Park.
