On this week's podcast,  we share some on this day in Disney history, discuss the Main Street Electrical's return to Disneyland plus lots lots more!

Main Street Electrical Parade

This much-loved parade was created by Robert Jani and project director Ron Miziker and dates back to 1972. It has floats and performers bedecked in over 600,000 LED lights and is accompanied by a syncrhonised soundtrack. 

It ran until 1996 (between 2001 and 201o it was at Californa Adventure) and then again for a limited time in 2017 and 2019. Another version ran at Walt Disney World.

On 26th October 2021, Disney Parks Tik Tok account shared a video hinted at its return!

Wine and Dine Marathon Weekend Post Race Party

The weekend is on the 4th-7th November 2021 with the party being on the Sunday - with entry from 5pm and the event runs til 12.30am over at EPCOT. Day guests can stay to watch Harmonius at 9pm and then will leave. Meanwhile those paying the $89 hard ticket price, can enjoy the food booths being open, plus attractions exclusively for them! 

However, if your are running the half marathon or the two course challenge this fee is not applicable. Of course, there is a speciality cocktail - called the Evil Elixir.
