Disney History
31.07.22 - Disney issue a triple lawysuit against the United Biscuit Company of America, The Sawyer Biscuit Company and The Chicago Carton Company. This was due to these company's using four of Disney's characters to promote animal crackers. Interestingly, the company is now owned by Kellogg Co.
02.08.98 - Guests onboard the Disney Magic's maiden voyage became the very first Disney guests to step foot on Castaway Cay - Disney's private island in the Caribbean.
03.08.22 - The very first Mickey Mouse watch was introduced at the cost of $3.25. In recent years, this watch has sold for over $6,000
How Much Is It Worth
We play a brief game to guess the current approximate value of some Disney merchandise.
Bubble gum and trading card from 1935 - unopoened $3,383
Comic book - Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge no. 385 (originally costing 10c) from 1952 costs $23,900. Reason it is valued so high? It was the first comic book with Uncle Scrooge on the cover.
Mickey Mouse Mad Doctor poster printed in 1933. It is a 27" by 41" mint poster. Last sold for $138,000
